ABOUT JOSH ROSE DRUM TUITION
Lessons aim to be fun and enjoyable while students are pushed to reach their limits and fulfil their potential. Lessons are taught either at HP Music in Ringwood or online using Skype. The drum room at HP Music offers a full Pearl acoustic kit and a Yamaha electronic kit along with a full PA system. It is the perfect environment for students to learn and enjoy their lessons. Whether you are looking to learn grades or just jam out some songs, we will make sure your lessons are right for you! Here is a summary of what lessons can cover:

Option to do drum grades. I mainly use Trinity Rock & Pop, but can also teach Rock school

Learn songs the student wants to do or, alternatively, be given certain songs to learn that will challenge the student and showcase certain techniques

Extensive work on technique, independence and rudiments

Can cover a wide range of genres and styles such as Rock, Pop, Metal, Funk, Disco etc

ABOUT JOSH
I started playing drums when I was 15 and have been teaching since late 2012. During the years 2010 - 2014, I studied at the Academy Of Music and Sound in Southampton where I achieved a BA Hons (2:1) in Performance Music. Since completing my course, I have been a full time drummer - teaching, gigging and recording session work.
I am the drummer in the band Saints Of Sin which was established in 2013, and have done hundreds of shows in that time. These include playing festivals such as; Isle Of Wight, Hard Rock Hell, Teddy Rocks, The Great Dorset Steam Fair and Insomnia 49 & 50. I have also done numerous tours with the band all over the UK and 2023 is set for the band to play our first international festivals over in Germany. Saints Of Sin has recorded and released two full albums along with additional EP's and singles and had airplay on major stations such as BBC Radio 2, Kerrang and Planet Rock. In the words of the legendary Johnnie Walker from BBC Radio 2 - "These guys are the real deal, they do not mess about."

I also have vast experience as a session drummer and I am the in-house drummer at HP Music where I have performed on numerous artists' tracks playing a mix of pop, rock, metal, country, folk and indie.
